Wright-Patt Credit Union (WPCU) celebrates the grand opening of a state-of-the-art Personal Teller (PTM) drive-thru lane at its Mad River Member Center, located at 8850 Kingsridge Drive in Dayton, Ohio. The addition of a PTM capability at this location will allow the credit union's members to enjoy personalized service while efficiently completing a wider range of transactions, all without leaving their vehicles.
Using a PTM is a very simple process that begins when a member touches the terminal's interactive screen. After appearing on screen, a WPCU Personal Experience Representative guides the member step-by-step and answers any questions until transactions are completed.
As an added benefit, a PTM from WPCU offers the same services as an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) 24 hours a day. “Our Personal Experience Representatives are available to assist members during normal business hours but the convenience of PTM technology continues around the clock," states Tracy Szarzi-Fors, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. “At any time of the day, members have access to their money and account information."
WPCU is currently using PTM technology throughout the Dayton, Columbus, and Cincinnati areas to meet member demands for flexible financial solutions. Depending on the service location, a PTM is placed inside a Member Center and available during regular business hours or accessed outside of the Member Center via a drive-thru lane.
“In the short time it's been available, our PTM drive-thru is really seeing a lot of activity," said Steve Burton, Manager, Mad River Member Center. With such a large number of visits to his Member Center on a daily basis, according to Burton, “this PTM will allow us to help more members in a shorter amount of time and that's a win for everybody."
