With our easy-to-use digital Chat options, you have the ability to chat with our Virtual Assistant or connect with a WPCU representative via Live Chat on our website — WPCU.coop — or within Mobile or Online Banking.

FAQs about WPCU’s Chat Options:

  • Patty & Live Chat are currently available on our website – WPCU.coop — and Mobile and Online Banking. Here’s how to navigate to our Chat options within each platform:

    • WPCU.coop – Desktop: Select the “Have a question?” bubble in the bottom right corner
    • WPCU.coop – Mobile: Select the chat bubble in the bottom right corner
    • Online Banking: Select the “Have a question?” bubble in the bottom right corner
    • Mobile Banking App: Click “More” menu (bottom right), then select “Chat with Us” in the featured menu
  • Once you’ve navigated to the chat feature, you’ll be automatically connected to Patty, WPCU’s virtual assistant. Patty can help answer basic questions about WPCU’s products, services and Member Center locations.

    If you want to chat live with a WPCU representative during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm EST), simply ask Patty to connect you:

    • “Can I chat with a person?”
    • “Connect me to live chat.”
    • “Live Chat.”

    From there, you have the option to select either “General WPCU Member Support” or “New Account or Loan Member Support,” and you’ll be connected to the right representative.

  • WPCU’s Live Chat option is designed to make it fast and easy to connect with a WPCU representative from the convenience of WPCU.coop or within Mobile or Online Banking.

    You can ask a representative to help you:

    • Make an internal transfer
    • Make a payment on your credit card, mortgage or another loan
    • Open select share accounts, including checking, money market, and share certificates
    • Modify share certificates
    • Manage check holds
  • WPCU’s Live Chat can complete a range of requests for you from the convenience of WPCU.coop or Mobile and Online Banking. For example, you can use the Live Chat feature to ask a representative:

    • “Can you transfer $75 to my savings account?”
    • “Pay $50 toward my credit card balance.”
    • “Help me open a Money Market account.”

  • WPCU’s Chat options are unable to:

    • Fund a loan
    • Process skip-a-pay on a loan
    • Process deposits or withdrawals
    • Open trust accounts, HSAs, IRAs, custodian accounts, or Rep-Payee accounts. These accounts must be initiated online.
    • Process wire transfers
    • Chat Financial Coaches cannot start a loan application over chat. Members will need to use Call-24, or the representative will guide the member to use self-service options.
