Mobile Deposit

Save time and money with Wright-Patt Credit Union's Mobile Deposit. Keep more cash in your pocket and more gas in your tank!

Overview

It couldn't be easier. Mobile Deposit lets you "click" with your finances in a whole new way. If you can take a picture, you can make a deposit. Just Tap, Snap and Deposit!

Mobile Deposit Tips

Here are some tips to make sure your Mobile Deposits process smoothly.

  1. Make sure the amount you enter matches the amount on the check.
  2. Remember to sign the back of the check, and endorse "WPCU Mobile Deposit".
  3. Choose a well-lit spot to capture the check images.
  4. Try to avoid shadows.
  1. Lay the check flat and on a dark background.
  2. Ensure all four corners of the check are visible and you can see the entire check from edge to edge in the image... no rolled or torn edges.
  3. Keep your hands clear of the check when taking the photo.
  4. Use "Preview" to double check the photo quality.
  5. Ensure the MICR numbers located at the bottom of the check are completely readable in the photo preview.
  6. Now just tap "Deposit check"!

Using these Mobile Deposit tips will save you time and money, and make your life easier!

Bill Pay

With WPCU’s Mobile and Online Bill Pay, you can safely and securely send a payment to almost any place you would normally pay by check. Just set up your payees and schedule one-time or recurring payments.

Our goal at WPCU is to help you manage your finances with ease and convenience. Instead of logging into multiple places and manually pulling your accounts and transaction history together, WPCU's Money Management lets you see all of your financial accounts in one place, with one login.

Card Management

With Card Management through Mobile and Online Banking, you are able to manage your ATM, Debit and Credit Cards 24/7!

Card Management is a feature within Mobile and Online Banking that allows you to easily view and manage your active WPCU ATM, debit and/or credit cards. To access Card Management simply tap the “More” menu when using the WPCU Mobile App or click on the “ Services” tab in Online Banking.  

Card Management offers a variety of features to help you make life a little easier, including the ability to:

  • Turn your ATM/Debit or Credit Card On or Off
  • Report your card lost or stolen 
  • Request a replacement card
  • Simple instructions for resetting your PIN
  • Create custom nicknames for your cards

A new and enhanced Debit Card Rewards Offers program is now available from WPCU! Debit Card Rewards Offers makes it easy to earn cash back on everyday purchases from some of your favorite stores.

A new and enhanced Debit Card Rewards Offers program is now available from WPCU! Spend and manage your money wisely by earning cash back on some of your everyday purchases from your favorite stores.

To access, simply log in to WPCU's Mobile or Online Banking to sign up for Debit Card Rewards Offers and register your WPCU debit card.

  • In Mobile Banking, navigate to the "Cards Center" menu, then select "Debit Card Rewards Offers". 
  • In Online Banking, click on the Debit Card Rewards Offers widget (on the "My Accounts" page underneath the My Credit Score widget), or navigate to "Debit Card Rewards Offers" under the Additional Services menu.

Once you've registered, it's as easy as Tap, Spend, Save!

  1. Tap: Activate the offers that interest you.
  2. Spend: Make qualified reward purchases online or in-store using your debit card meeting offered terms.
  3. Save: Receive cash back in your account.

Our free Online Banking system is one of the fastest, most convenient ways to access all of your accounts. Once you log in to Online Banking, you can do all of your important banking tasks right from the homepage, including:

  • View your account balances and transactions history
  • Pay bills with Online Bill Pay
  • Activate Debit Card Rewards Offers and get cash back for purchases you make with your debit card
  • Enroll in eStatements and eNotices to view monthly eStatements, tax statements and more
  • Request Skip-a-Pay on qualifying loans

Most of the things you can do in a Member Center, you can do online. Wright-Patt Credit Union’s Online Banking makes life a little easier with access to your account and the ability to perform transactions whenever and wherever you’re online. It’s easy, convenient and free!

  • Account balance reaches a specified amount
  • A loan payment is due
  • Share Certificates or Club Accounts are nearing maturity

eNotices

Get notified via email any time something important happens with your account:

  • A transfer was made from an overdraft source
  • A check/debit was not paid because of insufficient funds
  • You have a past due loan payment
  • Your account has had a negative balance for 30 days
  • Your Share Certificate or IRA is nearing maturity
  • One of your accounts was closed
  • You have money that will be sent to unclaimed funds if we do not hear from you
  • Your safe deposit box is up for renewal 

Electronic Tax Documents

Easily access and print your tax documents.

A good Mobile Deposit photo is on a dark background, with all elements of the check visible and within the camera border. WPCU requires all checks deposited via Mobile Deposit to have “WPCU Mobile Deposit” endorsed on the back of each check. Below are examples of good Deposit Photos for the front and back of a check.

Please Note: If all elements of your check are not visible or within the borders of the camera view, your deposit may have to be manually reviewed. This may result in your deposit being rejected due to missing information.

After you’ve made sure the check photo meets all the requirements and you tap “Deposit check”, here’s what you can expect to happen next:

  • When you see your confirmation number, it means we’ve received your check deposit. 
  • If the check photo meets all the requirements, your deposit will immediately show up in your account.
  • If your deposit doesn’t immediately show up in your account that means we’re reviewing your check photo to make sure it captured all the information we need.
  • To check the status of your deposit, open the Mobile App and go to the Check Deposit screen. Then click on the History tab in the top right corner. This screen provides an overview of all your deposits with the date, amount, and check status. Click on a single deposit for more details.
  • If you made the deposit before 8:00 PM, Monday-Friday, and 1:00 pm on Saturdays we’ll review your check photo and send an email notification the same day letting you know if your check was accepted or rejected. Otherwise you’ll get an email notification on the next business day. You can also check the status of the deposit any time using the Mobile App. Please do not deposit the same check again until you get a notification email.
  • If the notification email says your deposit was rejected because of the photo quality go ahead and try depositing your check again, and follow the tips listed above. If your check is rejected for any other reason please bring your check to your nearest Member Center and we'll be happy to help!
