Make the Most of WPCU's Mobile and Online Banking

​​​In a time when we're all trying to limit face-to-face interactions to stay healthy, digital banking services offer a convenient and safe way to access your finances.

You may already use Wright-Patt Credit Union's (WPCU) Mobile and Online Banking for your day-to-day money management. But you might be less familiar with the wide range of digital tools and services available to help make your life a little easier!

Check out some of the great things you can do with Mobile and Online Banking:

Set up automatic alerts

Did you know you can sign up for automatic email and text message alerts or app notifications to help you manage your money? Here are some alerts to consider setting up:

    • Balance updates. Schedule automatic balance updates to be sent once a day, once a week, once a month or anytime you wish.
    • Low balance alerts. Get a heads up when your account balance falls below a certain amount. You could select $20, $100 or any custom amount.
    • Direct deposit alerts. Know right away when your direct deposit hits your account.
    • Loan payment alerts. Receive notifications about upcoming loan due dates to avoid missed or late payments.

These alerts will help you stay informed about your account activity without having to log in several times a day! 

Pay bills online

Wouldn't it be nice to manage all your bills in one place? It's possible with WPCU's Bill Pay, available through Mobile and Online Banking! When you enroll in Bill Pay, you can pay bills quickly and easily, helping you save time and money on checks, stamps and envelopes. Paying your bills electronically also offers increased security because you're not putting private information in the mail where it could be compromised.

With Bill Pay, you have the ability to set up one-time or automatic recurring payments to avoid missing due dates. You can also make payments directly to your WPCU loans by transferring money from your account or another financial institution.

Deposit checks

WPCU's Mobile Check Deposit makes it easy to deposit checks right from your mobile device. All you need to do is snap a photo of the front and back of your signed check and deposit it using WPCU's Mobile App. There's no need to wait in line or drive to a Member Center! Save on gas money and save time by depositing checks at any time.

Secure your debit and credit cards

WPCU's new Card Manageme​nt feature allows you to manage your active WPCU ATM, debit and credit cards within Mobile and Online Banking. If you misplace your card, you can use Card Management to turn your card “off' while you look for it and “on" again if you find it. This is a smart way to help prevent potential fraud if your card falls into the wrong hands! If you know your card is lost or stolen, you can use Card Management to report it and request a replacement card right away.

Keep track of your spending

Keeping your finances organized can be tricky, espe​cially when you have accounts in several places. Instead of logging into multiple banking platforms and manually pulling your accounts and transaction history together, use WPCU's Money Management!

Money Management is a free service that lets you see all your accounts, even those with other financial institutions, in one place, with one login. You can also use Money Management to set savings and debt payoff goals and visualize your progress. Track your spending over time and by category to see trends and opportunities for improvement. It's a great tool to help you on your journey to financial flexibility and freedom!
