Bill Pay Payment CenterPoint Energy

As your credit union, we are committed to providing accurate account information and ensuring the transactions you request happen as you intend.

Wright-Patt Credit Union, Inc. (WPCU) recently experienced an issue with our Mobile and Online banking Bill Pay service, this letter is to inform you that your Bill Pay payment has been impacted by this issue.  

A Recent Payment Has Been Sent to the Incorrect Address for CenterPoint Energy

WPCU was notified that check payments sent to CenterPoint Energy between July 2nd, 2024 and August 5th, 2024 have been sent with an invalid mailing address and were returned to​ the post office. This error caused check payments between July 2nd, 2024 and August 5th, 2024 to not be sent to CenterPoint Energy on your behalf. 

WPCU Will Reimburse Any Late Fees

The invalid address has been corrected within our Bill Pay system, and any future payments will be sent to the correct address. If you have not already done so, please schedule a new payment to CenterPoint Energy. If you were charged any fees as a result of this issue, please call our Member Help Center at (800) 762-0047 so that we can reimburse you accordingly. Please have the following information available so that we may process your refund: 

  1. The name, phone number, and email address of the person responsible for the bill
  2. The due date of the payment as indicated on your CenterPoint Energy Bill
  3. The amount of the late fee incurred
