Our mission is helping people through life, and that includes helping strengthen the communities in which we serve. Every year, our Sunshine Community Fund helps raise funds for local non-profit organizations. Currently, our partners-employees have been challenged to raise $230,000 by June 2019 to support three Sunshine Community Champions: Artemis Domestic Violence Center, Homefull and St. Vincent de Paul.
Throughout the year, our partner-employees come together in creative ways to support our Sunshine Community Fund, and so far we're off to a strong start!
Earlier this month, our partners competed in their own Souper Bowl! That's not a typo, we mean tasty SOUP, chili and snacks! Partners pit their best game day dishes against each other and voted for their favorites by contributing monetary donations to our Sunshine Community Fund.
Another one of our fundraising initiatives is “PayDay Jeans," where partner-employees donate weekly to the Sunshine Community Fund to earn jean days. When you see a partner wearing jeans on Fridays, give them a big thank-you, because they are donating to help our communities!
