Application Process and Timeline
Wright-Patt Credit Union® (WPCU®) and myCUmortgage partner-employees raise funds each year to support selected nonprofit organizations who align with the WPCU Sunshine Community Fund's mission and vision.
During this season and year-round, the WPCU Sunshine Community Fund is thankful for the opportunity to support community through our grants and community giving efforts. In 2025 we celebrate giving through:
- Funding our seed commitment of $1.3 million to the NW Dayton Pathways Housing initiative
- Granting more than $150 across our service footprint to support more than 25 nonprofits
- Provided four Doug A. Fecher scholarships students through the Doug A. Fecher Scholarship
As we prepare for 2026, we are finalizing our giving and grant-making plans. We appreciate your patience and are committed to ensuring organizations throughout our communities have what they need to make an impact. An update on 2026 funding plans will be available by the end of January.
