Golfers Making a Difference

Golfers riding on golf carts during the WPCU Golf OutingFor 18 years, Wright-Patt Credit Union (WPCU) has been making a difference in our community through our annual golf outing. Two hundred golfers and our community sponsors united to help us raise $100,000 for the Sunshine Community Fund. Participants also donated water and nonperishable food items to help support those affected by the Dayton tornadoes.

Every year, WPCU provides funds to local, non-profit organizations that are helping people in our communities. This year, our Sunshine Community Fund is benefitting the three organizations below who help reduce the financial barriers that people in our communities face every day.

Artemis Domestic Violence Center creates a sustainable partnership with the Veterans Administration and Wright Patterson Air Force Base by providing a confidential community advocate for survivors who have experienced intimate partner violence.

Homefull provides guidance to the underserved inner city urban areas to lead a self-sustaining life and help provide financial training to increase job stability.

St. Vincent de Paul helps people who are experiencing homelessness by providing food, clothing, shelter and counseling in local neighborhoods.

Do you work with a non-profit organization that serves your community? We are currently accepting applications for our next Sunshine Community Fund Champions.
