  1. Confirm Your Eligibility: Most individuals who live, work, worship, or attend school in Southwest or Central Ohio are eligible for WPCU membership. Military and civilian employees of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Wright State University students and staff, and qualifying relatives of current members are also welcome.
  2. Open Your Account: You can open your free checking account online in minutes or visit any WPCU Member Center to get started in person. A Financial Coach will walk you through the process and answer any questions along the way.
  3. Set Up Direct Deposits and Start Banking: Once your account is open, set up direct deposit to have your paycheck sent directly to WPCU. From there, download the mobile app, activate your debit card, and you're ready to go.
