WPCU® Mobile & Online Banking Update

At-a-Glance Update:

On February 23, you will be prompted to review and accept our updated Electronic Services Agreement (ESA) to continue using WPCU Mobile and Online Banking. 

If you do not have automatic app updates enabled on your mobile device, please read more below to ensure you will still have access to the WPCU Mobile App after February 26th.

Enhanced Fraud Protection Is Coming to Keep Your Account Safe

Keeping your account and personal information secure is one of our top priorities. To strengthen your protection, we’re introducing new security features in Mobile and Online Banking that help confirm it’s really you logging in based on your usual activity patterns.

Beginning February 23, we will be introducing several important updates to enhance your Mobile and Online Banking experience. Below is everything you need to know to be prepared and continue to enjoy a seamless, secure and uninterrupted digital banking experience with WPCU.

What's Changing on February 23?

  1. New Electronic Services Agreement (ESA) – beginning February 23, you’ll be prompted to review and accept our updated ESA the next time you log in. You’ll need to accept the new ESA to continue using Mobile and Online Banking. 

  2. Update to the WPCU Mobile App – a new version of the WPCU Mobile App will be available in the App Store and Google Play Store. To take advantage of the new fraud protection, please update your app to Version 2025.10.1.6.

App Version 2025.05 or Newer Required
Beginning February 26

If your device doesn’t support Version 2025.10.1.6, you’ll still need to update your app to Version 2025.05 or newer by February 26 to maintain access to your account through the mobile app.

Frequently Asked Questions

    1. Open your app store: Go to the Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (Apple).
    2. Search: “WPCU Mobile Banking” and select it from the results.
    3. Check the button:
      1. If you see "Update": You are not on the latest version. Select Update to download the latest version.
      2. If you see "Open": You likely have the latest version. However, if you are experiencing login issues, your device or operating system may be too old to support further updates. In this case, you can:
        • Navigate to the “What’s New” section for the app in your app store and select the arrow icon for additional app details and version history details.
        • If you do not see the full app version and build number of 2025.10.1.6, you might not be able to log into our app. In this case, you can access your account by:
          1. Logging in to your account from WPCU.coop on a supported mobile browser. Supported mobile browsers are the latest versions of Google Chrome or Safari.
          2. Logging into your account from WPCU.coop on a desktop computer or laptop using a supported browser. Supported browsers are the latest versions of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari.
    4. Verify the version number:
      1. Review the “What’s New” section for the app in your app store. Tap the arrow icon for version history details.
      2. The latest full app version and build number should be: 2025.10.1.6.

    If your version is not 2025.05 or newer, please update your mobile app through the App Store or Google Play Store so you can continue to log in after February 26. 

  • Setting your phone to automatically update your apps is the easiest way to make sure you always have access to the latest features, support, and security protections.

    For Android Devices 

    1. Open the Google Play Store
    2. Tap your profile icon (top right)
    3. Select Settings
    4. Under Network Preferences, choose Auto‑update apps
    5. Select one of the following:
      1. Over Wi‑Fi or mobile data
      2. With limited mobile data
      3. Over Wi‑Fi only

    For Apple Devices (iPhone/iPad) 

    1. Open Settings
    2. Tap Apps
    3. Select App Store
    4. Under Automatic Downloads, toggle App Updates ON
  • If you are unable to use or access the WPCU mobile app on your mobile device, you can access your account by:

    • Logging in to your account from WPCU.coop on a supported mobile browser. Supported mobile browsers are the latest versions of Google Chrome or Safari.
    • Logging into your account from WPCU.coop on a desktop computer or laptop using a supported browser. Supported browsers are the latest versions of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari.
  • Your Mobile and Online Banking experience is protected by multiple layers of security. One of the newest tools we’re adding is behavioral biometric fraud protection, which analyzes your typical usage patterns—such as your device type or how you typically navigate your account—to help ensure it’s really you accessing your account—giving you greater peace of mind when banking online.

    Rest assured this technology does not collect personal or financial data, fingerprints, facial scans, or anything stored on your device.
