It’s easy to spend money but not always as easy to save it. Now you can do both with Wright-Patt Credit Union’s EasySaver® debit card round-up account. Each purchase you make with your WPCU debit card is rounded up to the nearest dollar and the difference is deposited to your EasySaver account.

Open an EasySaver account, and every time you use your Debit card to make purchases, we’ll round-up the amount of each debit card purchase posted to your checking account to the nearest whole dollar and transfer the difference into your EasySaver account. WPCU will total the round-up amounts posted to your checking account each business day and make a single transfer at the end of the business day. That means if you make purchases for $30.25 and $15.75 on the same day, we’ll debit your checking account for $30.25 and $15.75 for the purchases, add the round-up amounts of $.75 and $0.25 and transfer $1.00 (“daily-round-up transfer”) to your EasySaver account at the end of the business day.

And while all that change will add up fast, we’ll help it add up even faster! WPCU matches 50% of your roundups earned during your first 30 days in the program and 5% on all your roundups each quarter after that.

  • If you already have a WPCU debit card, you are already EasySaver compatible! To open an account, simply stop by any Member Center or call our Member Help Center and ask us to set up your EasySaver account.
  • If you don't have a WPCU debit card or checking account, click here to learn more and open one today.
  • Once enrolled, purchases will appear as usual, with a line item for the exact amount of each purchase. Each day a purchase posts to your account, your round-ups will be totaled and debited from your account as one daily transaction at the end of the day.

  • While you can access your account at any ATM with the STARSM or Plus® logos, as a member of Wright-Patt Credit Union, you have lower-to-no-fee access to over 40,000 ATMs nationwide, including any Wright-Patt Credit Union, Alliance One, CO-OP ATM, or STARSM ATM.

  • If your WPCU debit card is lost or stolen, please call (800) 762-0047 immediately.

  • We recommend that you review your account statement carefully each month to detect any suspicious account activity. If you suspect fraudulent ATM/Debit Card activity on your account, call us immediately at (937) 912-7000 or (800) 762-0047.

  • Wright-Patt Credit Union's Routing & Transit Number is 242279408. This number also appears as the first 9 digits on the bottom left-hand corner of your Wright-Patt Credit Union checks.

    This number uniquely identifies Wright-Patt Credit Union and is used for electronic processing, such as direct deposit and wire transfers.

    • External Funds Transfer: Move your money between your deposit accounts at WPCU and 23,000 other financial institutions
      • Allows you to send funds from WPCU to an external financial institution OR from your external financial institution to WPCU
      • The Primary member on your WPCU account must also be the Primary member on your external financial institution account as well
      • Transfers take 2-3 business days to process

    • Pay WPCU Loans: Pay your WPCU loan directly from another financial institution
      • Your name must be on both the receiving and sending accounts
      • You will need the ACH account number and routing number for the external account at another financial institution

There is no minimum opening balance, no monthly service fee, unlimited check-writing with no per-check charges and free debit/ATM card access. If you bounce a check, the fee you'll pay is one of the lowest in town — and there is no additional charge for each day your account balance is negative. With a CentsibleSpend Account, there is no overdraft fee, however, there is a low $4 monthly fee.

  • Yes – your deposits at Wright-Patt Credit Union are federally insured up to a total of $250,000 per ownership interest by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).
