WPCU Partner-Employees Help With Dayton Habitat for Humanity Home
Wright-Patt Credit Union, Inc.’s partner-employees were proud to work alongside Wright State student-athletes and community partners to construct panels that will be used in the construction of a new home for a Fairborn family.
Wright-Patt Credit Union’s longstanding partnership with Habitat for Humanity includes financial support, volunteerism and education to help strengthen local communities. Wright-Patt Credit Union has provided funding for multiple builds and financial education for Habitat homebuyers. Additionally, WPCU serves as a financial partner for Habitat for Humanity by helping eligible homeowners apply for critical repair grants through the Federal Home Loan Bank's Carol M. Peterson Housing Fund. Last year, homeowners working through partners such as WPCU were awarded approximately $500,000 to fund repairs by Habitat for Humanity that help keep individuals and families safely in their homes.
