‘Women: At the Table Talks’ Event in Dayton, Empowering Women for Financial Independence
Wright-Patt Credit Union® (WPCU®) is proud to announce its upcoming "Women: At the Table Talks" event, a FREE in-person gathering designed to empower women, women+, and allies from the Dayton area. The event will focus on crucial discussions around achieving balance, building support networks, bridging the gap of financial independence, and becoming effective advocates.
Featured speakers include Renée Sattiewhite, President and CEO of the African-American Credit Union Coalition (AACUC); Ivy Glover, Director, Community & Social Impact at Wright-Patt Credit Union; and Adriane Miller, Executive Director of NCCJ: Nurturing Community, Cultivating Justice, among others.
The "Women: At the Table Talks" event acknowledges the challenges many women face in setting healthy boundaries, balancing life and budget, and navigating professional and personal spheres. This interactive session aims to provide a supportive environment for attendees to learn, share, and grow.
“Now more than ever, creating space for community and having conversations around these topics is not only impactful, but necessary,” commented Ivy Glover, Director, Community Impact & Development at WPCU. “This event is something we have been planning for a while, and WPCU is excited to invite the community to join us for conversations about topics that are often on our minds, but that can sometimes be challenging to navigate. We are hopeful that this event will ‘set the table,’ so to speak, for attendees to ask questions, voice concerns, and share knowledge in a supportive and collaborative way.”
