We have exciting news to share about a leader who has spent the last quarter-century looking out for our members. Wright-Patt Credit Union, Inc. (WPCU®) President and CEO Tim Mislansky has been recognized by the Dayton Business Journal (DBJ) on its milestone Power 100 list.

This special “25 Years of Progress” edition of the DBJ’s Power 100 honors Miami Valley visionaries from yesterday and today who have uniquely shaped the growth, economic vitality, and history of the Dayton region. This historic recognition is doubly special, as it perfectly aligns with Tim’s own 25-year work anniversary of service right here at WPCU.

A Quarter-Century Dedicated to "People Helping People"

For our members who rely on WPCU as their trusted financial home, this honor reflects a long-term commitment to taking better care of you and strengthening WPCU’s cooperative impact. Over his 25-year history of leadership, Tim has embodied the credit union philosophy of "people helping people."

His impact is woven into the fabric of how we serve you today:

  • Championing Housing for All: In 2001, Tim launched myCUmortgage®, building it into a national cooperative engine that helps credit unions across the country open doors to fair, affordable homeownership.
  • Guiding Our Historic Growth: Since stepping into the President & CEO role, Tim has guided our cooperative past the monumental 500,000-member mark, ensuring more families in our communities have access to lower fees, better rates, and a secure financial partner.
  • Advocating for You Regionally & Nationally: Whether championing local small businesses through specialized community lending or serving on the national Board of Directors for America's Credit Unions, Tim ensures our members’ voices are heard at the highest levels.

A Reflection of Our Cooperative Spirit

While this is a tremendous personal milestone for Tim, he is the first to tell you that it is truly a reflection of the cooperative spirit of WPCU.

“Our purpose remains simple,” says Mislansky. “We want to ensure our members always have a caring financial partner who builds hope, improves financial well-being, and helps them navigate all of life's moments.”

As a member-owned cooperative, our strength comes from you, our members. Thank you for choosing WPCU as your financial partner, and please join us in congratulating Tim on 25 years of extraordinary service and this well-deserved recognition!
