Don't Put Your Identity at Risk: If You've Moved or Relocated - Let Us Know!

If you’ve recently relocated or are planning to move, you’ll want to make sure you’ve updated your address with Wright-Patt Credit Union and any other financial service providers.

Filling out your change of address form with the United States Postal Service is a great start, but it’s always a good idea to make sure Wright-Patt Credit Union and any other financial service providers have your most current address on file to make sure you have uninterrupted access to important and sometimes time-sensitive account information, including statements, new debit and credit cards, checks and more.

Mail theft is one of the most common ways that identity theft occurs.

The best way to prevent sensitive information from being exposed through the mail is to make sure you notify Wright-Patt Credit Union and any other financial institution of any change of address. Identity thieves love people who don’t keep their address current in a timely fashion.  It helps them to open accounts in your name, capture personal information, and accept products bought on your credit.

Updating your information is easy.

Many financial institutions now allow you to update your address instantly online using their secured network. Wright-Patt Credit Union is no exception. Below are three easy ways to make sure we always have your current address on file:

  • Simply log in to Online or Mobile Banking. Go to My Contact Information and update your “Physical Address” in the Profile Updater.
  • Contact the WPCU Member Help Center at (937) 912-7000 or (800) 762-0047.
  • Or, visit any WPCU Member Center and we'll be happy to assist you.

Keeping your address updated is an essential task to track important documents and keep your identity safe.
