Mobile Deposit Tips

If it's the first time you've used WPCU's Mobile Check Deposit, we have a few quick tips to make it go smoothly:

  • Endorse the back of the check with your signature and the words “WPCU Mobile Deposit."
  • Place the check on a flat surface with a dark, solid-color background and good lighting. Make sure all four corners of the check are visible and avoid casting a shadow.
  • Log into WPCU's Mobile App and tap “check deposit."
  • Enter the amount listed on the check and choose the account in which you want to deposit the check.
  • Use your device to capture a clear photo of the front and back of the check within Mobile Check Deposit. You can even choose for the picture to be taken automatically when all the information is in focus, no need to tap the screen or press a button!
  • Wait until the deposit clears and the money hits your account, then simply shred or rip up the check to safely dispose of it.
