Wright-Patt Credit Union (WPCU) is proud to announce that Mr. Daniel G. Smith was named Chief Financial Officer. Smith joins WPCU with over 25 years of finance leadership in multiple consumer finance areas.Daniel G. Smith portrait

Fecher, President and CEO of Wright-Patt Credit Union. “Daniel will be a great asset to the credit union with his diverse financial background and his great enthusiasm. He will also be a key member of our senior management team, helping us achieve our vision of being the best organization members have ever experienced and the best place our partner-employees have ever worked.”

Most recently, Mr. Smith was at Fifth Third Bank for more than eight years, with assignments that included capital planning coordination for the Consumer Bank, pricing and balance sheet forecasting, and financial decision support for the Retail Banking and Consumer Lending business units. Prior to Fifth Third, Smith served KeyBank for 20 years with multiple business unit finance roles in National Consumer Finance, Education Resources, Marine/RV Lending and Auto Finance.

Mr. Smith received his MBA in Finance from Cleveland State University and completed his undergraduate degree in Business Administration at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY. A native of Ireland, he resides in Loveland, OH with his wife and two sons.
