Wright-Patt Credit Union's mission of “helping people through life" is at the heart of everything we do. Every year, our partner-employees rally together to donate hours of time, energy and talents to enrich the communities we serve and make them better places to live, work, and raise a family!
Recently, WPCU donated $4,000 to the Tony Wells Foundation to support the NeighborRelief program. These funds will be used in the Columbus community to help neighbors who have fallen behind on utility bills or rent due to financial hardship from the pandemic and job loss.
WPCU was also proud to make our annual contribution to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Student of the Year on behalf of Ryan Sivakumar, a student at Upper Arlington High School. Fundraising efforts for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society support breakthrough blood cancer research to advance lifesaving treatments and cures for blood cancer.
Finally, during a recent wellness event co-hosted with Youth Yoga Project called 'Women for Wellness,' WPCU distributed $10 gift cards to each participant. We encouraged them to use their gift cards to “pay it forward" within the community and make someone's day!
