Debit and Credit Card Suspicious Activity
We recently posted news to our website regarding an unusual amount of inquiries from members regarding suspicious activity in their accounts due to out-of-state card transactions. The source has been identified and isolated to a local area restaurant involved in an alleged skimming ring.

While we have tracked the source, we still highly encourage members to continue to review and monitor their accounts for any unauthorized transactions mainly in California, Indiana and New York. We recommend you use Wright-Patt’s online Home Banking, Wright-Patt Mobile or Call-24 to periodically check your Wright-Patt accounts and notify us immediately if you identify any unusual activity.

Debit Card Use Out-Of-State
If you are traveling out-of-state and find that you are unable to use your debit card, try making your purchase using your PIN (Personal Identification Number).

Ongoing Monitoring
We want to assure you that accounts are being monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for suspicious activity. We have implemented enhanced monitoring programs to specifically watch for suspicious activity on identified debit and credit cards. If any suspicious transactions are identified, we will contact you immediately.

Zero Liability Policy
As a member of Wright-Patt Credit Union, you are covered under our “zero liability policy” for fraudulent charges on your credit and debit cards. However, to help minimize the financial impact to your credit union, and alleviate or minimize any inconvenience to you, please continue monitoring your accounts closely, and report any suspicious activity to Wright-Patt Credit Union immediately by calling (937) 912-7000 or (800) 762-0047.
