Purchases will appear as usual, with a line item for the exact amount of each purchase. Each day a purchase posts to your account, your round-ups will be totaled and debited from your account as one daily transaction at the end of the day.
We know each member will develop their own method for recording these transactions in their checkbook. One method we suggest is recording the actual purchase amount next to the payee name in your checkbook, and then recording the “rounded-up” amount as the debited amount. This will help you keep your checkbook balanced, and help you avoid overdrawing your account.
The rounding-up of purchases applies to debit card transactions only.
